Jane Ficklefate, with no memories of her life, awoke to the gruesome scene of her murder. This artificier detective searches for answers regarding her true identity, the reason for her undead state and the culprit of her murder.
Upon entering Barovia, and befriending the strangest group of misfits, the Luminare, a series of unfortunate events worsen Jane's precarious sense of self; deepening her insecurities about being a more deformed, scarred and incomplete version of her previous self. In spite of the efforts of her friends and long lost husband (whom she discovered and rescued from Castle Ravenloft), her battle against herself will be harduous and long.

After listening to Laufey's album "A Matter of Time", this song stood out to me. I couldn't help but notice how perfectly it fit Jane's struggle with herself. This animatic was born out of the pure inspiration provided by the song, as well as a series of unfortunate events that unfolded during the Dungeons and Dragons campaign I play this character in.
